John Eaton Afterschool Program (JEAP) is a separate non-profit, non-DCPS operation that provides before and after school care to Eaton students.  All communication regarding attendance, sickness, programming and tuition, etc., should be made directly to the Program.  Feel free to contact Dietra Rogers, Program Director or Freddya Wilkerson, Program Assistant Director at the JEAP main number, 202-363-5847, or to JEAP.

The mission of the John Eaton Before and Afterschool Program is to:

John Eaton Afterschool Program (JEAP) Board Meetings:  JEAP is a private non-profit organization that provides before- and after-school care to Eaton students for a reasonable fee.  Tuition assistance is available.  The JEAP Board is comprised of parents whose children participate in JEAP.  Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and are open to JEAP parents.

From time to time JEAP undertakes fundraising activities to support scholoarships for low-income participants in the program. JEAP also provides enrichment classes open to all Eaton students for a fee.  Classes generally run for 8 weeks and are offered throughout the school year.  Look for enrollment packets 2 or 3 times a year.  For more information, call the JEAP office at 202-363-5837.
