Principal Dale Mann begins his 21st year in education at John Eaton Elementary School. He grew up in a very small town in western Maryland.
Mr. Mann earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary & Middle School Education and Master’s of Education in Administration & Supervision from Frostburg State MD University. Recently, he earned his Executive Master’s in Leadership from Georgetown University. Mr. Mann taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade at several elementary schools and was a mathematics intervention specialist, assessment analyst and assistant principal in the Washington County, MD Public School System. In Washington County, he was also the principal at Sharpsburg Elementary near the Antietam Battlefield. Mr. Mann relocated to Northern Virginia and became the assistant principal at Centre Ridge Elementary School and principal at Fairfax Villa Elementary School in the Fairfax County, VA Public School System. Mr. Mann is thoroughly enjoying his experience at Eaton Elementary, and committed to the District of Columbia Public School System.
Mr. Mann lives in the Courthouse metro area in Arlington, Virginia. He enjoys running, tennis, biking, reading, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends. His favorite vacation spot is the beach.
