The jockeys are mounted and at the starting gate. The flag has dropped and the race is on!
On March 28th, during the John Eaton Kentucky Derby Auction, we will draw the winning raffle ticket. The odds are outstanding and the prize is even better -- $1,500 cash.
Check the scratch sheet. There are even more ways to win. There will be prizes for the top ticket sellers, the student who sells the winning ticket, and the first class to sell of all of its raffle tickets!
Did you find the envelope with five raffle tickets to sell and instructions on how to sell them? You still have a month to get your friends and families to buy tickets and support our school. You don't have to be at the Auction to win (though everyone is invited!). All proceeds benefit John Eaton programs.
So dust off those colors, grab the reins and get on the track. You just may be the winner!
(BTW – If you are around to help selling or collecting tickets before or after school in March, contact Barbara Heffernan at firstname.lastname@example.org. It’s really loads of fun!)
Principal Dale Mann returned to John Eaton this week, just in time for record breaking temperatures. Staff, students and parents welcomed him as he eased back into his schedule, visiting classrooms to talk to students about his return and to answer their questions about his absence.
This morning, more than 30 parents stopped by the library for the Principal's Breakfast to show their support and to warm up with coffee, bagels and other tasty treats before heading back out into the record breaking temperatures.
Watch your emails and backpacks for the next Principal's Breakfast reminders and be sure to join us!
