EATON BOOK FAIR
February 28- March 1, 2026
Get wonderful books into our kids’ classrooms AND raise funds
to support Eaton! Follow these easy steps:
1. Go to the Bookstore: Visit ANY Politics & Prose location (5015 Connecticut Ave NW / 610 Water St SW / 1324 4 th St
NE) on February 28 or March 1.
2. Choose Books from Teacher Wish Lists: Scan this QR code or go to https://tinyurl.com/EatonTeacherWishlists2026 to see the books that Eaton teachers/support staff would like for their classrooms. Once you have a book in hand, “sign up” for that book on the wish list to prevent duplicates.
3. Shop for Yourself: Politics & Prose will donate
20% of the price of everything you buy on
Saturday and Sunday to Eaton, so in addition to
buying from teacher wish lists, stock up on books
for your family or gifts for upcoming special occasions.
4. Checkout: You must show the official P&P flyer at the checkout in order
to get the 20% donation for Eaton. Pay for all of your purchases and
take all books home with you. Go to
https://tinyurl.com/JohnEatonBookFair2026 to print a copy of the flyer
or save a screenshot on your phone.
5. Bookplate Stickers: Bookplate stickers will be available at the Connecticut Ave. store this year. Fill them out and put one in each book you bought for the school.
6. Competitions: The class with the highest attendance at the Politics & Prose on Connecticut Ave. will win a pizza party! Students must check in to be counted. Look for our table near the entrance to the kids section of the bookstore. And anyone purchasing 2 or more books off Specials Teachers wish list will be entered to win a Politics & Prose gift card. The wish list will be available closer to the book fair weekend.

Stop by Comet Ping Pong any time that weekend--lunch, dinner, snacks, or a fun night out! Tell your server that you are supporting Eaton and they will donate 15% of your bill to the school.
On Saturday 2/28, between 12 noon and 2pm, Eaton teachers will read their favorite books to students and families in Comet Ping Pong's event space. Stay tuned for a list of participating teachers.
