SchoEnrolling Your Child - Pre Kindergarten
Students entering pre-kindergarden must be four years old on or before September 30th of the year they begin school. All Pre-Kindergarten slots are are allocated through the DCPS lottery system. For more information please visit the My School DC.

In Boundary
All students at John Eaton are placed according to chronological age. Children entering kindergarten must be five on or before September 30th of the year they begin school. To enroll your child, please contact Registrar Monika Epler or call 202.282.0103.
Please bring the following documents at the time of registration
NOTE: Unless you obtain a medical or religious exemption from the Department of Health, students must be current with their immunizations to attend school. Strict protocols will be enforced for students whom are not in compliance regarding immunizations. Starting in the 2020 school year, non-compliant students will be given 20 days from the first day of school to provide immunization certification. For further information please contact DC Department of Health and review other resources below.

Out of Boundary
Out-of-boundary admission is based solely on the DCPS lottery and space availability. Parents must complete a separate application for each child they would like to enroll at John Eaton. Students who are granted out-of-boundary permission have all of the same rights and opportunities through fifth grade as students who live in-boundary.
