School Advisory Team |
The Local School Advisory Team (LSAT) is a group of elected and appointed members that exists for every DCPS school. The Eaton LSAT is comprised of elected parents (4), faculty and staff (4), and one community representative (to be named). Each month the LSAT comes together to advise Mr. Mann & Ms. Anderson on priorities and goals, on developing the local Comprehensive School Plan, including the supporting budget, and on school culture and family engagement.

When are LSAT meetings?
LSAT meetings take place from 5:00-6:00 on the second Tuesday of each month, an hour before HSA meetings begin. At 6:00, Mr. Mann or Ms. Anderson provides the Principal's Report to both the LSAT and HSA. LSAT meetings, like HSA meetings, are open to all.
What is the difference between the LSAT and the HSA?
Whereas the HSA is an organization comprised of all Eaton families with the mission of supporting supplemental educational opportunities for Eaton children, Eaton's LSAT is more of a sounding board for Mr. Mann & Ms. Anderson. The HSA raises and manages a budget; the LSAT does not. The LSAT, however, reviews and signs off on Mr. Mann's DCPS budget request prior to its submission to DCPS budget administration.
